How do I reconnect my account when I change my Instagram username?
If you change your username, you'll need to reconnect your account on your Gramista Dashboard. This is because we access your account using the username and password that you supplied when you connected your account. Here's a work-around to re-connect your account!
- Change your Instagram password when you change your username (this will cause an Error message in Gramista--this is good!).
- Login to Gramista and click your old username (please, allow up to 15 minutes for the Error message to appear on your Dashboard).
- Click RECONNECT at the lower left.
4. Type your new Username and new Password in the fields, and click Connect.
Note:
You'll need to re-connect your account to the Dashboard every time you change your Instagram password or username. Simply tap Reconnect and follow the prompts.
This method should let you keep your account Settings (i.e. Hashtags) in your Dashboard.
You may have to verify the login attempt by clicking It Was Me in the Instagram app (or web).
