How do I use choose Hashtags, Usernames, Locations and Blacklists? How to target correctly?
👨👩👦👦 In this article we'll explain how targeting works and how you should think to find the right audience
Targeting options are there to help you guide Gramista towards your target audience. There are three effective ways that let you refine your activity and reach the right crowd. Hashtags, Usernames and Locations.
Gramista will browse hashtags that you've saved, it will like images and/or follow users who have posted those images. Hashtags are good for interacting with lots of people as they have more content than any location. However hashtags aren't specific enough, that's why we strongly advice you to combine them with Locations and Usernames.

Works similarly to hashtags. Gramista will go through media and users that appear in your chosen locations and interact with them. Locations are great for accounts that are focused on certain places, regions or venues. Even if your Instagram isn't focused on any particular location don't be afraid to experiment because you'll find more personal accounts in locations that anywhere else.
Usernames work a bit differently from the rest of the targeting options. Gramista will search through followers of a given username and like their latest image (and follow them if your Follower is running). There are many use cases for usernames, the most obvious ones are targeting competition and accounts that have following that might be interested in your content.
You can make Gramista interact with only Female or only Male accounts. This feature is very useful if your account, product or content is mainly focused on one of the genders. Note that gender targeting is not absolutely accurate, Gramista will be guessing gender based on name and other clues left in the bio. If an account doesn't have enough information to guess accurately enough, it'll be skipped.
Blacklists will help you filter out unwanted content and accounts. Don't neglect usage of blacklists. Setting them up mightn't sound as exciting as setting up targeting but your blacklists will prevent interactions not only with accounts that post and promote unwanted content, blacklists are yet another way to fine-tune your targeting.
Prevents interaction with pictures and videos tagged by one of the blacklisted hashtags.
Prevents any interaction with blacklisted accounts. Gramista won't like or follow these users.
